On January 25, 2017 President Trump signed two executive Executive Orders:

“Border Security and Immigration Enforcement Improvements,” described aggressive new measures at U.S. borders.
“Enhancing Public Safety in the Interior of the United States,” announced a massive expansion in immigration
enforcement within the United STates.

On February 17, 2017, DHS Secretary John Kelly issued two policy memoranda, explaining how DHS will implement the Executive Orders. It is standard for the immigration agencies to issue such memoranda to describe how a general policy will be implemented. The following video gives an overview of the Kelly Memos.

what does this mean to immigrants with criminal background? I am a Filipino green card holder and have a misdemeanor 11 years ago and planning to apply for citizenship. am I a candidate for deportation now? do you advise applying for naturalization with criminal backgrounds? I am so troubled.
