Attorney Karen Klein has been practicing law for over 30 years. She is an experienced business lawyer and entrepreneur who achieves results through collaboration, tenacity, and perseverance. Karen works with individuals and small business clients on Bainbridge Island, Seattle, and Kitsap County. Focusing on the client’s goal, Karen takes a holistic approach to solving the problem, considering the past and present situation of the client.
She is licensed to practice law in the State of Washington, the United States District Court for the Western District of Washington, and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.
Karen is committed to supporting clients’ needs, while ensuring that business needs drive solutions. Karen has substantial litigation, employment, social media, and commercial transactions experience; and, she has tried over seventy-five (75) cases to verdicts. She is a frequent speaker on social media issues, both locally and nationally.
Karen’s legal background and creative problem-solving enable her to evaluate, create, craft, and execute business deals. She has served as a judge pro tempore in district and superior courts in Washington, taught at the University of Washington School of Law, and served as General Counsel for both mid-size and start-up companies.
Karen obtained her undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan and her law degree from Boston University School of Law. She also holds a mini-MBA Business Certificate from Boston University School of Management. Now based in Bainbridge Island, she lives her life based on the principles of honesty, integrity, and loyalty, always striving to make a difference in the lives of others.
In her spare time, Karen serves on the board of the Bainbridge Island Downtown Association. She mentors women attorneys, and enjoys traveling, skiing, and working out at the gym.
